SU women’s lacrosse extends winning streak on Senior Day

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The No. 5 SU women’s lacrosse team beat Louisville 22-12 for a win at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, March 30.

A second-half, 8-0 scoring run allowed the Orange to pull away and extended their winning streak to six games.

Emma Tyrell led Syracuse in scoring with five goals, followed by Olivia Adamson who tallied four of her own.

22 goals marked a season-high in a game for the Orange.

Syracuse also celebrated Senior Day with a pregame ceremony honoring the senior class of Emma Ward, Katie Goodale, Lauren Call, Evan Johnston, Jenny Markey, Tate Paulson and Natalie Smith.

The Orange will hit the road for its final non-conference game against Cornell on Tuesday, April 2, at 3 p.m.
